8 analog outputs from 0 to 10 Volts (or 0 - 5V)
Assembly:
Brand: Interface-Z
Reference: act-8anaout
This board allows controlling actuators with variable output using the MIDI protocol. The actuators must respond to 0-10V (or 0-5V) signals.
It can be connected upstream of a dimmer (e.g., a dimmer kit) for incandescent lamps. Some DMX dimmers can also be controlled with 0-10V signals (for spotlight control). Additionally, it can drive an analog synthesizer, automation systems, or tools. Some linear power supplies can also be controlled with 0-10V.
8 Analog Outputs
To accommodate all types of use, the actuator interface can be controlled from your computer (PC, Mac, or workstation) using any software capable of MIDI communication, such as: Pure-Data, Max MSP, Director (with plug-in), Isadora, EyesWeb, etc.
- MIDI Input (DIN connector)
- HE10 flat cable connector for actuator connection
- Power connector
- Four mounting holes (one in each corner)
- Power Supply: This module can be powered by DC or AC, using any adapter/battery with an output voltage between 14V and 18V.
- Controlled via Control Change MIDI messages.
- Board documentation available
