This module allows simultaneous reception of data from two Midi transmitters.

Examples of applications

- Receive information from both a sensory mat and analog sensors connected to an "8 analog inputs / 8 digital inputs" module on the same MIDI input.

- Receive messages from both a MIDI keyboard and a sensor interface.

Compatibility and piloting

This product is compatible with all devices that transmit data using the MIDI standard.

- Power supply: via any 9-20V AC or DC power supply, low voltage, or any other safe AC or DC power source.

Unlike some types of mergers, this one requires an external power supply, which ensures no interference between the power supply and the MIDI data flowing through the device (since MIDI transmission is opto-coupled). Furthermore, this allows the merger to be compatible with a MIDI booster placed upstream.
