Electronic cards for data capture are available in : Simple sensors, ADC interfaces for simple sensors and direct Midi sensors.
Simple sensors are a set of modules that measure information in the real world and provide information in the form of a voltage variation (5V).
To obtain their measurements, they need to be connected to an ADC interface, which sends usable messages (Midi, OSC, etc.) to create an interactive device. ADCs are analog-to-digital signal converters.
Direct sensors incorporate this converter and don't need a sensor interface to connect them: they send their data directly in a protocol understood by the computer, software or programming environment that manages the interactive device.

Simple Sensors
Simple sensors are cards that measure precise real-world parameters: distance, volume, temperature, movement, etc... They're easy to connect, with no soldering, no components to add, and are compatible with all interfaces. They are haptic and contactless sensors for sensory art, performance, dance, music and real-time interactivity.

Sensor Interfaces
Our simple Sensor Interface boards are designed to accommodate a variety of small analog and digital sensors (switches), offering an immense palette of artistic expression. The information measured by the sensors is converted into messages using Midi, RS-232 or OSC protocols.

Fonctions
Ces petites cartes permettent un pré-traitement du signal de certains capteurs. Elles sont utiles dans le cas de dispositifs interactifs branchés sur des cartes autonomes, pour faire un filtrag ou une analyse des informations détectées sans ordinateur.

Capteurs Midi directs
Capteurs complexes comportant une prise Midi. Ces capteurs ne se prêtent pas techniquement à être traités comme des Capteurs Simples, ils incorporent donc leur propre convertisseur de signal et envoient leurs mesures directement dans un protocole compréhensible par l'odinateur, en général le Midi.
